Chris Puterbaugh says 'The Horror Stone Series: Vengeance' was one of the worst films he's done and if not, the worst in the series:

Chris Puterbaugh, known for his roles in 'The Horror Stone Series', 'Ascend' and 'Ascension', says 'Vengeance', the fourth installment in the 'Horror Stone' franchise, was the worst:

"Back in 2021, we filmed a fourth installment to 'The Horror Stone Series'. I and James Colvin, liked the concept of bringing back 'The Enity' which we had in the previous 3 films. We wanted to tell a back story, and make the film a bit more psychological for the characters. However, I just reflect back and didn't understand the movie. Our characters kinda fell apart with this one. Griffin and Gannon and the old cast, were main support anchors for the franchise, so I kinda had to re-invent what this movie was about. We made it about the reflection of my mind, and how I was still haunted by the entity. It was all a dream, but the movie didn't ever go deeper than that, and didn't tie in to the past story as well as the previous movies did.

I genuinely wanted to see the movies have a continutation, but the way we did it felt off to me. In 'Corpse Rise', we destroyed the horror stone, and we killed off the main villains. So naturally it was weird to showcase it, and we even had to recreate the entity, with a different mask and look. It just was not entirely put together. Also, I was in a relationship at the time, and my mindset was not in the right position in life to really understand this film's concept. There wasn't much standing ground, and It flew to one of our least viewed movies to date. We really don't talk about it. I know in the future my film's will have more depth, and more understanding. We are doing a continuation of this story with a entirely new film based off the second Horror Stone film, 'The Forest'. It's going to be unlike anything we have ever done before. So I told myself the bar is going to be raised in that perspective. I do however, thank myself for making 'Vengeance' as It showed me where I was in my life, and the thing's that I was brought to now, a better version of myself, and a whole new era of content that will arrive with our rebrand, and new movies. I am ever so grateful for those movies, the cast, and my beloved friends from that franchise, who to this day, still supports the channel and the vision I have.
